The Costa Rica Experience – Hands on Massage Therapy Training
This section of the training truly sets our program apart. We cover 300 hours of hands-on training and clinic time in the happiest country on earth. Costa Rica offers limited distractions and a tranquil setting to complete this section of the training.
Weekend excursions throughout Costa Rica’s tropical paradise allow students to relax, clear their minds and let knowledge sink in as they take cues from Ticos’ harmonious way of living.
During this section of training students will cover the following:
Basic Swedish Massage 35 hours
Advanced Swedish Massage 15 hours
Connective Tissue Massage 35 hours
Shiatsu Massage 16 hours
Lymph Drainage 16 hours
Sports Massage & Hydrotherapy 16 hours
Reflexology 16 hours
Neuromuscular Therapy 16 hours
Integrative Massage 35 hours
Clinic Log Book 50 hours
Clinic Massages 50 hours
Students will have the following class schedule:
Classes: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am – 3 pm, Friday 8 – 12
Clinics: Monday – Thursday 3:30 – 5:30
Note: Classes end at noon on Fridays to allow for extended weekend travel
