Massage Therapy Training at Home, Online
At CRSIM we believe the most convenient and affordable method for completing the bookwork is online. Students are supplied with book(s), and complete assignments and tests for each section. Feedback is given throughout each stage of the online study. This portion of the training is 200 hours of bookwork covering the sections listed below.
Section I – Basics of Anatomy. Learn the terminology of anatomy as well as the locations and divisions of the body. Levels of organization as well as a basic overview of the systems of the body will be reviewed.
Section II – Structure of the Cell and Skin. Study the anatomy of a cell and the structure and functions of the cell. Also included will be the integumentary system.
Section III – Skeletal System and the Digestive System will be covered during this session.
Section IV – Respiratory System, Excretory System, Cardiovascular System will all be covered in this session of study.
Section V – This session will be covering the Reproductive System, Lymph System and the Nervous System. This session will also include a cummulative test over all the above materials.
Section VI – The Muscular System will be studied in depth. We will also be doing Kinesiology and learning the locations, names, origins and insertions of all the muscles of the body.
