Lodging Options
Students can choose from two options for lodging while in Costa Rica. Students must consider which option will best facilitate their journey to a new career. CRSIM supports both options for the well-being of the student.
Tico Family Homestay
The homestay lets students connect to Ticos on a very intimate level, and enhances the Costa Rica experience. The trust built almost instantly in the homestay helps our students advance in their massage therapy training at a faster pace. Those interested in advancing their Spanish find the homestay facilitates the best opportunity for learning.
Life abroad in Costa Rica for 6 weeks includes the following:
Travel planning assistance
Ground transportation from and to SJO airport
6 week home stay including 3 meals/day & weekly laundry/maid services
3 weekend trips to main attractions in Costa Rica such as Arenal Volcano
Spanish language lessons are available upon request, $10 USD per hour
Aparthotel Living
For those students not comfortable in a family stay experience or looking for more privacy during training, an apartment living hotel option is available. A six week stay at Hotel Roma will include:
- Laundry service (economic rate)
- Paid room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Tourist information services, organizations and reservation of tours throughout Costa Rica
- Office service, messages, fax, eMail and mail
- Internet service.
- Real Estate Services
- Safety box
- Luggage storage
Room service for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and laundry service are available at additional rates.
Apartments have a living room, fully equipped kitchen, private bath with hot shower, dining table, backyard or patio, cable TV, desk, high-speed DSL internet and telephone with external line.
